What is Montce?

Montce is a popular women’s swimsuit brand that offers sustainable swimwear, clothing, accessories, home goods, children’s swim and clothing, and health and wellness items.

Montce was founded by South Florida native, Alexandra Grief, who began making swim suits from her Florida apartment in 2009 for friends and customers looking for custom swimwear made to order.

In 2013, Ali opened her first swimwear storefront in Ft. Lauderdale and was soon joined by her brother, Devin, who became Montce’s COO and Co-CEO alongside Ali. Together, the two built their swimwear brand from the ground up and now lead a 40+ person team committed to making only the best when it comes to fashion and swimwear.

Today, shoppers can find Montce products in both the Ft. Lauderdale location, as well as a location in Miami and over 70 partner retail stores worldwide. In addition, Montce products have been featured in publications such as Marie Claire and Vogue, and have been worn by celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Priyanka Chopra and more.

What is Montce’s Philosophy?

Montce believes in a healthy balance of “style and substance,” ensuring that every piece is made from quality fabrics in nostalgic prints that stand out from other regular swimsuit designs. In addition, extensive fit testing and advanced construction detailing ensure that Montce’s products are not only made well, but are comfortable, good for the body and the environment, and will last much longer than ordinary swimsuits.

Sustainability

As companies around the world work to minimize their carbon footprint, Montce is no exception, taking great strides to ensure that their products are made and manufactured in Florida (or as close to Florida as possible) to avoid greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, much of Montce’s swimwear is made from eco-friendly fabrics that don’t contain harmful substances or dyes that might come into contact with a person’s skin or the bodies of water they enter. Some of Montce’s swimwear is even made from 100% recycled plastic to reduce plastic landfills.

Going one step further, all packaging products used by Montce are made from plant byproducts and can be composted at home or at compost facilities. Montce even rewards shoppers when reusing netted cotton shopping bags while making purchases in their physical locations!
